This article will be of interest to German teachers who want to explore how to teach culture using German web sites. After a review of various ways technology can be used for foreign language teaching, Hager presents his approach which includes a pretask phase, a task phase (hypothesis construction and testing), and posttask phase. The author concludes that the students in this class, who were business majors studying German, learned valuable background information for the study of culture.
