Standard 4: Comparisons is the focus of this article (especially 4.1, about developing insights into the nature of language). It reviews the history of and difficulties involved in developing translation websites, then provides a selection of activities using these sites to develop learners' language skills, including practice with cognates, idioms, and error correction.
