This article presents a description of a course, Tutoring for Community Outreach, at Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh that brings together undergraduate modern language students with pupils studying languages in K-12 schools in a service-learning tutoring opportunity. The article specifically addresses the Communities Goal and how it can be achieved through such a course.
