This chapter will interest instructors and administrators interested in developing courses in service learning. This chapter describes an innovative course in service learning in an Intensive English Language Program (IELP), from how it was created and community participants were identified to what students did in alignment with individual content Standards in each of the 5Cs. The report also presents the evaluation and assessment method used.
