This article would interest particularly teachers and researchers in technology. At Old Dominion University, grants focused on improving teaching and learning by integrating podcasting and podcast activities designed to fit the Communication Standard and oral skills in the interpersonal, interpretive, and presentational modes. In classes using podcasts in various ways, students were surveyed about access to technology, learning habits, how they perceived the use of podcasts and how podcasts were actually used. Results suggest that technology enhances communication, learner study habits, and outcomes.
