Publications on the National Standards

This article would be of particular interest to FL teacher training programs. This article speaks to the lack of integration of the Standards at the post-secondary level. The author then advocates implementing the Standards in the post-secondary level to promote meaningful articulation and to facilitate the learner's transition from secondary to post-secondary FL courses. The author further speaks to the need for Standards-based mentor teachers in teacher training programs.
