A report on a workshop on service-learning at the 2004 AATSP conference in Acapulco, the article will interest instructors and scholars working in service learning. The workshop presented the overall purpose of the conference session as well as significant historical background and how service-learning projects are able to help students reach the goals of the 5 C's of the Standards.
