Publications on the National Standards

This article will interest especially high school teachers and curriculum planners. It reports an innovative high school initiative that developed a content-based curriculum around learning expeditions with a student conference at the end. All 5 Cs were involved with special attention to Connections. For assessment the Standards-based IPA (Integrated Performance Assessment) was used. The languages involved were French and Spanish but the discussion is applicable to other languages as well.
