Publications on the National Standards

This essay article would provide K-12 teachers of any language with a brief introduction to the Standards. It is a general overview of the Standards and describes their purpose and history, using language and reproductions from the Standards themselves. The authors include implications for language teaching, as well as suggestions for incorporating the Standards in the classroom with an example using the Chinese calendar.
