Fountain, A. & Fountain, C. (2007). Maya and Nahuatl in the teaching of Spanish: Expanding the professional perspective . In Cherry, C. M. & Bradley, L. (Ed.), From Practice to Profession. (pp. 63-77). Valdosta, GA: Southern Conference on Language Teaching.

This article will interest teachers of all levels, particularly in Spanish or in less commonly taught languages. The two authors address culture in this article, but with the goal of expanding the horizons of what we teach so that FL teachers can expand their linguistic and literary base.
