Publications on the National Standards

This description of curricular revision at Stanford University will be of interest to teachers at the undergraduate level who seek to implement the Standards for teaching and learning. Using both the Oral Proficiency Interview certification and a focus on Standards as a blueprint for program development, the authors describe a multi-year endeavor to include faculty in all the languages in a curricular reform process. The appendices include Standards-based descriptions of learning goals for first- and second-year students of Spanish.
