Wright, D. & Borst, S. (2001). Globalizing articulation: Rethinking the business German curriculum. Journal of Language for International Business, 12(1), (51-68).

This presentation documents the design and revision of a business German curriculum based on the Standards project and on a needs assessment conducted through a survey of 250 job advertisements summarizing key language and verbal skills sought by managers. These desiderata were incorporated into a curricular sequence aimed at developing skills for a well-defined student demographic. This presentation exemplifies best practices for revising curricula for language for special purposes courses.
