Publications on the National Standards

This report would be of interest to teachers and administrators of second-language programs who are working to implement Standards at the state-wide level. It summarizes the activities of the three-year grant awarded to the Nebraska Department of Education to implement foreign language Standards on a state-wide level. The project involved three strands: development of the Standards, creation of teacher preparation guidelines, and implementation of the Standards through teacher professional development and certification.
