Publications on the National Standards

This chapter is of particular interest to language educators interested in the development, implementation and impact of the Connections Standards. It discusses the theoretical and conceptual concepts that underlie the Comparisons Standard, the rationale for intercultural competence as an overriding goal, and the implications and application of intercultural explorations in the language classroom.
