This report will be of interest to administrators and teachers at all levels who seek to form academic alliances for sharing information and materials as well as improving articulation. The report summarizes efforts in the state of Georgia during the 1980s and 1990s to create a community of K-16 language professionals. The authors cite the Standards as a unifying theme in fostering communication and improving articulation in instruction across levels.
