The Foreign Language Annals (FLA) Editorial Team is delighted to announce Review for Relief, an initiative to give back to the community while also supporting research during these unprecedented times. During the months of May and June 2020, FL Annals/ACTFL will be donating $75 to COVID-19 relief efforts for every FLA review completed. This meets the needs of researchers by continuing to offer efficient turnaround of submitted publications while simultaneously facilitating the opportunity for reviewers to volunteer their time towards relief efforts.

Time commitment: We estimate that it will take 2-5 hours to review each article and participants should be able to spend this time between now and June 1 to conduct the review.
Qualifications: Volunteers should hold a doctorate in a specific language, linguistics, language education or a related field and serve as a faculty member or the equivalent.
