Integrating Cultural Learning in Language Classrooms

Language teachers have the challenging and worthwhile task of helping our students encounter target language communities and new cultures, while affirming our students' cultures, and while moving towards goals for language proficiency. We'll explore principles and specific classroom examples of unit planning and instructional activities that include discovery learning of culture in classrooms that emphasis language comprehension and communication.
