TravelForTeens.com is excited to announce our 2nd annual essay contest! Each year, high school students from around the world are encouraged to write a 300 - 500 word essay that answers the question "Why do you think international friendship is important?"
The student with the most creative, articulate, and engaging response (as judged by the experts at TravelForTeens.com) will win an all expenses paid trip to the famous Cinque Terre region, on the rugged coast of the Italian Riviera, to participate in a meaningful community service project, and explore the splendors of Rome, Sorrento and the Amalfi Coast! The value of this trip, including airfare, is over $5,100!!
Entry must be submitted online by 12:00 pm, EDT, May 22nd , 2011.
Winner announced the week of May 23rd, 2011.
The contest is open to all students enrolled in grades 7-12 in public, private and home schools. To enter, all contestants must first register online and receive notification that their registration has been accepted. A faculty advisor is required for registration.
