I like the idea of students "playing" the parts of examiner and test taker and thus avoiding the task of listening to individual tapes. We have hand held recorders in my classroom, no language lab. I have a small center where I can hook up 8 headphones to a central post so have been doing the practice listening sections in two groups. This will be a great way to practice first semester especially!
