CALLING ALL FOREIGN LANGUAGE EDUCATORS: ALL LANGUAGES, ALL LEVELS

The L2 workshop is hosted for the 3rd consecutive year by the Romance Languages and Literatures Graduate Student Association at SUNY Buffalo. It will take place on Saturday, April 5th 2014, from 8:30 am to 3:00 pm on UB's North Campus. Further information regarding the conference, including the schedule, registration process and hotel information, can be found by visiting the workshop website: http://tanyafar.wix.com/l2workshopsatub2014.

The aim this year is to provide educators with tools to more creatively teach their language classes.  The workshops pertain to all second and foreign languages, including ESL / EFL, and will be conducted primarily in English. Our general goal is to provide practical knowledge of the applicability of new teaching techniques in the foreign language classroom environment. Therefore, these workshops are intended to be interactive in nature and to offer the participants skills and activities that can be modified to fit their particular teaching situation. Workshops will be 35 minutes in length and will be followed by a 10-minute question and answer period.

We are honored to have Dr. Christina Agostinelli deliver this year's keynote address, (Re)Considering L2 Technology: Effectively Enhancing the Language Learning Process.
