    Hola,
I am in need of project based activities for K-5th grades in units such as food, community, clothing, weather, etc... Can anyone share any ideas with me?
    Muchas gracias a todos,

My website has instructions for a clothing project I've done with high school students. Each student researches and presents a clothing item unique to Hispanic culture, such as the traje de luces (bullfighting suit). I'm sure it could be adapted for elementary students. ¡Buena suerte!

    Salut,

I am also trying to infuse some project based learning into my lower classes K-2 in French. It's difficult because of their age and competence with the use of technology. Has anyone be successful with this? I would love any ideas.

    Merci mille fois.

    Greetings!

ACTFL and Annenberg Media have partnered to make a series of FL videos.  You might find some inspiration viewing some of the videos, especially the elementary level ones.  Enjoy!

    Hi Mudirat,
I don't necessarily use technology to complete projects with my youngest students. The complications are often not worth the difference in the final product. I do have them work on paper based projects. Feel free to contact me off line to discuss more details. For example, in first grade, I have each student create a book about their family (as a culminating project for physical descriptions & family vocabulary). They then get to share them with native speakers from our school community (not teaching staff) who visit the classroom to discuss and show images of their own families with my students.

Feel free to give me a call 917 622-7513, I'd be interesting in exchanging ideas.

    Best,
    Victoria
