RE: Short stories in Spanish 2
I create stories with the vocabulary and grammar concepts from the unit we are studying. This gives me the opportunity to integrate everything being covered in the unit in context (including culture). I have done this at the high school level as well as college level and it works! I don't always create the stories on my own, sometimes we create the story as a class, those always tend to be hilarious. Stories are great for listening, speaking, reading and writing as well. GOOD LUCK!
