Greetings!

Are you interested in expanding your knowledge about teaching Swahili language?

If so, consider applying to attend the STARTALK Summer Swahili Professional Development Program!

What: An intensive three-week program that will allow you to participate in professional development that will focus on quality instruction, curriculum and assessments for Swahili Language

 Who: This program is open to both prospective and new teachers of Swahili. 

Where: The program will take place at the Indiana University, Bloomington, IN.

When: The program dates are: July 8 - 26, 2013

          July 8-12 (One-Week Distance Learning                         Program -Non Residential)

          July 15-26 (Two-Week Residential Program in              Bloomington)

Cost: Each participant, selected for this program, will receive the following support:

  1. Accommodation support
  2. Travel reimbursement for out of town participants*
  3. Per diem for meals not covered during the program
  4. Certificate of Completion will be given to those who successfully complete the program.
